Welcoming, accessible outdoor spaces provide opportunities for connection, movement, relaxation and time spent with loved ones. That’s why enhancing the gardens at The Nathaniel Witherell is about far more than flowers. Friends of Nathaniel Witherell has committed $56,000 to renew the Rose Garden and front gardens at The Nathaniel Witherell. The first phase of the project will include a new sprinkler system and new plantings designed to create beautiful outdoor spaces for seniors and veterans to enjoy.

This is only made possible through contributions from generous donors who believe in the therapeutic power of nature.

In 1963, members of the Greenwich community came together to create the Rose Garden as a beautiful space for the benefit of The Witherell’s seniors and veterans. More than 60 years later, we have an opportunity to continue their vision. With your help, we can restore the garden’s beauty and create a place where residents can gather, connect, heal, and make memories for years to come. Donations in any amount help us reach our goal.
